Ha Tinh established a Steering Committee to reorganize commune-level administrative units and organize two-level local government.

The Standing Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee has just issued Decision No. 1227 on the establishment of the Steering Committee for the arrangement of commune-level administrative units and the organization of two-level local governments, referred to as Steering Committee No. 1227. This is an important step to realize the Central Government's policy on streamlining the apparatus and improving the operational efficiency of governments at all levels.

The establishment of Steering Committee No. 1227 will contribute to promoting the administrative reform process in Ha Tinh. Through the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units, a grassroots government apparatus with a reasonable scale, higher effectiveness and efficiency, and better service to the people will be formed. Steering Committee No. 1227 is headed by the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; the Standing Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee are the Deputy Heads and Standing Deputy Heads of the Committee.

The Standing Committee of the Steering Committee plays a core role, ensuring consistent and timely direction throughout the entire implementation process, including comrades: Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office, Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council. The key task of the Steering Committee is to lead and direct the arrangement and reorganization of commune-level administrative units in accordance with principles and standards, ensuring that local authorities at the grassroots level are close to the people, serve the people; implement the model of organizing a 2-level local government to ensure effective, smooth, uninterrupted operations according to the direction of the Central Government.

The Steering Committee operates on a part-time basis, with the Department of Home Affairs acting as the Standing Committee. The Head and Deputy Heads of the Committee are allowed to use the agency's seal to serve their direction and administration work. Upon completion of their tasks, the Steering Committee will automatically dissolve.
