Two traffic police officers jumped into the river to rescue a male student who jumped off a bridge in Nghe An.

Upon spotting a male student jumping off a bridge, two traffic police officers on duty immediately jumped into the river to save the victim's life.


According to initial information, on the morning of the same day (November 27), Major Tran Trung Hieu and Senior Lieutenant Dang Quoc Hung, officers of the Traffic Police Team, Thai Hoa Town Police, Nghe An Province, were on duty patrolling and controlling traffic safety.

While passing over Hieu 2 Bridge (located in Tay Hieu commune, Thai Hoa town), authorities discovered a student had jumped off the bridge into the river below.

In the critical situation, Major Tran Trung Hieu and Senior Lieutenant Dang Quoc Hung quickly approached and brought the victim ashore, provided emotional support, implemented measures to keep the victim warm, and monitored the victim's health.

After the victim's mental and physical health had stabilized, the task force took the victim home and handed them over to their family for monitoring and management.
