Two Vietnamese scientists, Hoang Thi Giang, PhD, Vietnam Agricultural Genetics Institute, and Tran Quang Hoa, Deputy Head of the Mathematics Department, Hue University of Education, were honored to receive the French Academy's award on October 17, 2023 for "Efforts for bilateral scientific cooperation between France and ASEAN countries."

These awards are intended to honor experienced scientists or support young researchers at the beginning of their careers, particularly in the fields of basic and applied science.

The international prize is awarded annually by the French Academy of Sciences to honor scientific cooperation between France and other countries and international organizations.
