Hai Phong improves leadership and management skills in the digital age

In order to foster and update knowledge and skills for the team of leaders and managers in the context of national digital transformation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, To Hieu Political School has just organized a class "Training in leadership and management skills 4.0".

Overview of the opening of the training course

Attending the opening ceremony were Dr. Nguyen Van Phu - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Party Secretary, Principal of To Hieu Political School; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hau - Deputy Chief of Office, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

The class had the participation of 115 students who are department-level leaders and division-level leaders of the city's departments, branches and sectors. The program took place in 3 days (from October 29 to 31, 2025), with scientifically designed content, combining theory with practice. Students were exposed to three key topics: Public policy communication in the online environment; Public administration in the context of digital transformation; Some key contents to effectively implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

Students visit Hai Phong city's smart operations center

In addition to the theoretical part, students also had a field trip to the Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) of Hai Phong city, learning about digital technology application models in urban management, thereby improving the ability to apply them in practice in operations at agencies and units.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Phu emphasized that the course not only aims to update knowledge but also contributes to renewing the thinking, working methods and adaptability of leaders and managers at all levels to meet new development requirements. He asked students to promote the spirit of proactive learning, actively exchange, discuss and share practical experiences so that the course content is truly lively, practical and effective.

The class is a practical activity contributing to improving the quality of the leadership and management staff of Hai Phong city in the current process of digital transformation and digital government development.
