Thousands of job opportunities for HUBT students

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Nghiep, Permanent Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Business and Technology, said that the 2024 job fair, held on November 30, is expected to attract 100 businesses, with 5,000 job opportunities for students, attracting over 6,000 students to participate.

Hanoi University of Business and Technology signed contracts with many businesses to recruit students after graduation.

The difference of this year's job fair is that the school will spend more time for students to interact with businesses; at the same time, organize entertainment activities, culinary , book exhibitions, art performances, calligraphy... to create a vibrant and attractive atmosphere, true to the nature of a festival.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Nghiep emphasized that the activities of higher education institutions are based on four pillars: Training, scientific research, international cooperation and community service. In which, community service is the most diverse and deeply humanistic pillar. Accordingly, creating job opportunities for learners is a regular task that training institutions need to carry out.

Hanoi University of Business and Technology continuously organizes for students to contact with businesses in many different forms, including periodically organizing job fairs, creating opportunities for students to meet, learn, and sign labor contracts with businesses.

Professor Nguyen Cong Nghiep added that this activity helps students have the opportunity to interact, demonstrate their abilities and find internship and job opportunities in their majors at reputable businesses.

The Job Fair is an annual activity to implement the school's goals, policies and strategies in career orientation, improving quality and capacity, introducing internship and job opportunities for students, promoting cooperation between the school and businesses according to the motto of accompanying and developing together.

In addition to students and alumni of Hanoi University of Business and Technology, the event also received attention and interest from students of universities, colleges and intermediate schools in Hanoi.

Mr. Le Van Cuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HTQ Group Joint Stock Company, a former student of the 7th course, Faculty of Management of Hanoi University of Business and Technology, said that the student job fair is a very meaningful activity, helping students gain more knowledge and skills when graduating to be more convenient when recruiting. Enterprises and employers participating also have many opportunities to choose good candidates, suitable for the field in which the company is operating.
