Tens of thousands of tourists attend Trang An Festival 2025

(NLDO) - Trang An Festival 2025 with the theme "Trang An - a thousand-year heritage - sacred soul of mountains and rivers" has attracted thousands of domestic and foreign tourists.

On the morning of April 13 (March 16, At Ty year) at Trang An World Heritage Site (Hoa Lu City, Ninh Binh Province), the Trang An Festival 2025 took place with the theme "Trang An - a thousand-year heritage - the sacred soul of mountains and rivers". Leaders of central ministries, departments, and branches, Ninh Binh Province and tens of thousands of domestic and foreign tourists attended this event.

Trang An Festival, also known as Thanh Quy Minh Dai Vuong Festival, is held to pay tribute to Thanh Quy Minh Dai Vuong, one of the three canonized generals - who had the merit of defending Son Nam pass, defeating the enemy and protecting the country under the reign of the 18th Hung King.

Trang An, which was the cradle of prehistoric people more than 30,000 years ago, is associated with the imprints of great dynasties in the history of the nation such as the Dai Co Viet State during the Dinh - Tien Le period, where King Tran Thai Tong established the Vu Lam Palace during the resistance war against the Yuan-Mongol, and the rapid footsteps of Emperor Quang Trung advancing to Thang Long...

Recently, the value of Trang An heritage has been estimated by domestic and international scientists to be up to 213 billion USD.

Trang An Festival 2025 is organized with many special activities such as drum performances, water procession ceremony on Sao Khe river; incense offering ceremony at Suoi Tien temple... with nearly 20 live stages, with the participation of more than 600 artists and actors.
