With the goal of building families with good, civilized, progressive lives and a green - clean - beautiful living environment, the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) has launched the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's and 3 clean's". Implementing the campaign, the provincial Women's Union at all levels has organized many specific and meaningful programs and activities, thereby bringing the campaign into life, attracting a large number of female members to participate.

Walking around Rang Dong town (Nghia Hung), we can easily see the new rural imprint (NTM) present on every road, house, public works... The colorful flower roads, the clean and airy concrete roads are clear evidence of the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people, in which the Women's Union of the town plays a significant role. Implementing the Movement "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's", the Women's Union of the town has focused on promoting propaganda and mobilizing women to actively participate in implementing the criteria of the Movement, especially the criteria of no poverty and clean house, clean kitchen, clean alley. The Union has implemented activities to support members in economic development, coordinated with departments and branches to organize training courses, transfer science and technology, and provide credit for members to borrow capital... Up to now, thousands of women members of the town have received loans through the Union's organization. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Women's Union of the town coordinated with Ngoc Lam Border Guard Station to plant 9 new bougainvillea roads, 1.2km long, with a total cost of more than 30 million VND from socialized sources, contributing to building a model new-style rural landscape and civilized urban area of ​​the town.

Based on the content of the Campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" including the following criteria: no poverty, no violations of the law and social evils, no domestic violence, no third or more children, no malnourished and dropout children; clean house, clean kitchen, clean alley. The Provincial Women's Union at all levels has increased propaganda, mobilization, and dissemination to raise awareness among cadres and women's union members about the content, purpose, meaning, and importance of the Campaign; organized for women to register for implementation, taking the implementation results of the Campaign as one of the criteria for annual evaluation and emulation; at the same time promptly commending member households that have completed the implementation of the Campaign criteria to set an example for other women's union members to follow.

Implementing the "5 no" criteria, the Women's Union at all levels reviewed members in difficult circumstances to support and help; mobilized members to actively change the structure of crops and livestock, practice thrift to help each other develop the economy , pay attention to and support poor women, women in difficult circumstances, poor students who overcome difficulties to study well... On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Provincial Women's Union directed the Women's Union at all levels to coordinate with the government, departments, branches, and philanthropists to organize many activities such as: "Loving Tet", "Border Spring - Warming the hearts of the villagers", "Zero-dong stall", "Raising piggy banks", "Turning trash into money"... From there, increase support activities for policy families, elderly women, women and children in especially difficult circumstances. On this occasion, the Women's Union at all levels presented 10,237 gifts and cash worth nearly 4.4 billion VND to poor and disadvantaged women members. Implementing the "Godmother" program launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Women's Union at all levels mobilized 252 godmothers to sponsor 1,389 orphans. In order to help poor students, each female cadre and member in the province also spread the spirit of saving to support the establishment of the "Hoang Ngan Scholarship" Fund and the "Shelter of Love" Fund to award scholarships and build new and repair houses for cadres and members in especially difficult circumstances. Since the beginning of 2025, the Women's Union bases in the province have contributed over 741 million VND, awarding 1,350 Hoang Ngan scholarships. To support women, especially poor women, to have conditions for economic development and sustainable poverty reduction, the Women's Union at all levels in the province has surveyed and classified poor women and poor women who are household heads to have appropriate support plans. In addition, the Union's bases also focus on vocational training, expanding links to vocational training organizations at enterprises and craft villages; organizing training courses on business start-up knowledge, transferring science and technology; mobilizing women to participate in "Women's Start-up Day"; helping members access capital sources... Up to now, the total outstanding debt managed by the Provincial Women's Union has reached over 3.4 trillion VND, supporting 195,741 households to borrow. The whole province has also mobilized savings of over 845 billion VND, attracting 231,363 female cadres and members to participate in savings. From this source of savings, 106,458 women have been supported to borrow at low interest rates to develop their family economy. Through the deployment of loan capital, many female members have been encouraged to actively develop production and business, overcome difficulties to become rich, create jobs and stable income for dozens to hundreds of workers.

In parallel with implementing the criteria: no violations of the law and social evils, no domestic violence, no third or more children, no malnourished and school dropouts, the Women's Union at all levels in the province regularly propagates and mobilizes members, women and people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; maintains the operation of happy family clubs, "Trusted Addresses" at the branches. In order to create favorable conditions for members and women in localities to register to buy health insurance cards, the Union at all levels has actively coordinated with the Social Insurance sector to continue to act as an agent to collect health insurance and social insurance. In the first 5 months of 2025, 97,455 women members and people were mobilized and propagated by the Women's Union at all levels to participate in buying health insurance.

With the "3 clean" criteria, every year the Provincial Women's Union launches the emulation movement " Nam Dinh Women join hands to build a new rural area", focusing on implementing criterion 17 on the environment. The Women's Union at all levels maintains the general cleaning of village roads and alleys every Saturday and Sunday; collects waste in residential areas, clears the flow of rivers and canals, collects pesticide packaging in the fields, plants and takes care of flower roads... From the beginning of 2025 to now, the Women's Union at all levels has organized 8,488 general cleaning of the environment, attracting 30,276 participants; planted 17,234 new trees of all kinds and 6.9km of flower roads, worth over 200 million VND. Along with that, the Women's Union at all levels continues to replicate, maintain and improve the quality of activities of models of women participating in environmental protection, contributing to the construction of advanced new rural areas and model villages at the grassroots level.

With appropriate contents and criteria, the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" implemented by the Women's Union at all levels has created a strong change in female cadres and members, helping them raise their sense of responsibility in implementing the criteria. Thereby, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the national target program on building new rural areas, promoting socio-economic development, caring for and protecting the rights of women and children.
