Coach Kiatisak moves to Hanoi Police Club, Mr. Vu Tien Thanh leads HAGL?

Sources from VTC News indicate that coach Kiatisak has not officially accepted the offer to lead Hanoi Police FC due to various off-field commitments with HAGL. However, the reigning champions have made an offer to the Thai coach.

If coach Kiatisak decides to leave HAGL, Chairman Thuy - in his role as sponsor - along with Chairman Duc, will appoint Mr. Vu Tien Thanh as the head coach of the team from the mountainous region.

Previously, Coach Vu Tien Thanh took on the role of Technical Director of HAGL on December 24. This is the second position that the former coach of Ho Chi Minh City Club holds after taking on the role of Director of HAGL Football Academy.

A number of former assistants of coach Vu Tien Thanh submitted their resignations three days ago at Ho Chi Minh City FC. However, after only 5 matches, the former head coach of the Vietnam U23 team was stripped of his right to lead the team. In the most recent match against Binh Duong Club, Technical Director Tran Tien Dai was the one in charge.

After that, many sources said that coach Alexandre Polking would be the next coach to work at the Hanoi Police Club. Mr. Polking had signed a memorandum of understanding with this team but had not yet implemented it. On the evening of January 6, information about coach Kiatisak Senamuang leading the Hanoi Police Club appeared.

Despite significant investment and the acquisition of the league's best players, Hanoi Police FC's performance has been unconvincing. Their playing style lacks cohesion and relies heavily on the individual brilliance of their star players.
