Support 80% of water price for communes and towns in ethnic minority and mountainous areas

Support 80% of water price from centralized water supply works according to Resolution 19 for communes and towns in ethnic minority and mountainous areas (according to Central regulations) and 40% of water price approved by competent authorities for the remaining communes and towns.

Vinh Phuc Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company No. 1 operates to supply clean water to rural households.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committees of districts and cities to direct the People's Committees of communes and towns in the area that are managing and operating water supply works to prepare documents requesting support and submit them to competent authorities for approval.

The Department of Finance urges and guides clean water supply units to develop plans to support water prices and submit settlement of support funds. At the same time, examine and confirm the volume and funding for water price support prepared by water supply units and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for approval.

Enterprises managing and operating clean water supply for rural households must urgently review and develop a plan for calculating water prices correctly and fully according to Circular No. 44/2021 dated June 18, 2021 of the Ministry of Finance and prepare documents to submit to competent authorities for approval according to the procedures in Instruction No. 08.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment urges the People's Committees of districts, cities and related units to implement water price support according to Resolution 19; update progress, report on implementation status and promptly propose to the Provincial People's Committee to direct the settlement of arising issues beyond its authority.
