Completed remediation of environmental violations at Samkwang Vina Electronic Components Factory

BAC GIANG - On May 16, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province issued Official Dispatch No. 2969 on overcoming the consequences of environmental protection violations at the "Samkwang Vina Electronic Components Factory" facility.

Accordingly, Samkwang Vina Company Limited has completed the remediation of environmental protection violations at the "Samkwang Vina Electronic Components Factory" located at Lot U, Quang Chau Industrial Park, Viet Yen town in accordance with the requirements of Decision No. 457 dated March 26, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman.

Samkwang Vina Co., Ltd. has completed the remediation of environmental protection violations at the "Samkwang Vina Electronic Components Factory" facility.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Samkwang Vina Company Limited, during the operation of the "Samkwang Vina Electronic Components Factory" at Lot U, Quang Chau Industrial Park, to strictly and fully implement the responsibilities of the facility owner according to the content of the environmental license granted in Decision No. 394 dated April 12, 2025 and current legal regulations on environmental protection.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board and the People's Committee of Viet Yen town to direct specialized agencies to strengthen monitoring, supervision and inspection of the compliance with environmental protection laws of Samkwang Vina Company Limited with the facility "Samkwang Vina Electronic Components Factory"; promptly detect, prevent and strictly handle violations, if any.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board and relevant agencies to continue to guide, urge and inspect the implementation of the above requirements for Samkwang Vina Company Limited; synthesize, report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and handling according to regulations.
