I hope that with good care, with the right techniques, the buffaloes will develop into a herd, creating a stable source of income for the family.

In Village 3 - Tru San Area, Tung San Commune, Cao Diu Co's family was also one of the households that received government support for buffalo raising last November. If we take good care of the buffaloes, they will be healthy and reproduce regularly, and my family will have the motivation to rise out of poverty.

Implementing Sub-Project 1 - Project 9 (National Target Program 1719), Hoang Su Phi district has provided funding for community groups to purchase hundreds of breeding buffaloes and cows for the Co Lao ethnic group. Not only providing "fishing rods", officials also provided guidance on how to build cages, care techniques, and disease prevention for the animals to grow well, creating livelihoods for ethnic minorities to develop the economy.

According to the local government's report, Tung San commune has 647 households with 3,141 people, of which 220 households with 1,070 people are Co Lao ethnic people living in 8 villages in the commune.

Mr. Hoang Binh Roi, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tung San Commune, said: Tung San is located 22km from the center of Hoang Su Phi district, the rate of poor households in the commune is still high. For many years, most people still only know how to cultivate and raise livestock according to traditional practices, the success or failure of crops is decided by... heaven! Lacking concentrated cultivation, crops and livestock cannot become commodities.
