Forms and policies of tuition support at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education
Every year, the School's Scholarship Fund considers granting 3 types of scholarships to HCMUE students including:
Study encouragement scholarship: Considered and awarded to full-time students with good academic and training achievements, meeting the criteria set by the School. Support level is from 50 - 100% of tuition fees of the semester considered for the scholarship.
Policy scholarships: Consider granting to students with disabilities; students from poor and near-poor households according to regulations of the Prime Minister. The support level is equal to 80% of the basic salary plus 100,000 VND/month to support means and learning materials.
Sponsored scholarships: This scholarship is awarded by the school in collaboration with organizations and individuals to students who meet specific conditions. Some sponsored scholarships: Han Team Scholarship, Saigonchildren, Future Steps…
For pedagogical majors, students will be exempted from or have their tuition fees reduced and supported with living expenses according to Decree 116, which is VND 3,630,000/month/student.
