On May 20, at Nguyen Hue High School ( Hue City), the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (Hue University) organized the first STEM Festival. This is the first time this activity has taken place in Thua Thien - Hue province.
Students participate in robot creation and programming competition
STEM Day is understood to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills related to the fields of science , technology, engineering and mathematics, attracting more than 2,000 students of all levels to participate and experience.
Here, the students were divided into 14 teams to compete in making water rockets, designing and manufacturing LED products, creating and programming robots... creating a dynamic and exciting atmosphere.
"This festival is quite new and interesting, helping us participate in technology activities and competitions, develop team skills, and increase our connection with each other. Through this program, I feel more excited about technology research," Nguyen Minh Toan (10/1 grade student, Nguyen Hue High School) shared.
The program attracted more than 2,000 students to attend.
The activity also brings products for students to experience such as artificial intelligence robots, VR virtual reality, artificial intelligence (AI) application games... which are products of students from the Faculty of Engineering - Technology.
According to Dr. Nguyen Quang Lich, Head of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (Hue University), this is an opportunity for the unit to share universityeducation resources with society and connect training between levels, narrowing the gap between university and high school training through the main force of students.

The festival also affirmed the role of the Faculty of Engineering - Technology in pioneering the implementation of STEM education in high schools, contributing to building a dynamic and creative educational environment in the fields of technology and engineering; especially in the context of Industry 4.0 and the trend of digital transformation that is taking place very strongly.
