Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Principal of Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School, said that to educate students about patriotism on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day, the school organized many meaningful activities.
In particular, the music video "Youth of the Ho Chi Minh Generation," composed by musician Trieu Dang and performed by a group of 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students from the school in 9 languages, was featured.
Nguyen Bao Anh (7ME2, singing in Polish), Nguyen Minh Tung (7CI2, singing in Japanese), Ngo Tue Man (7CI5, singing in Chinese), Dau Khanh Phuong (11AS2, singing in Chinese), Luu Thanh Lam (8IG1S4, singing in Russian), Do Gia Minh (10IG2S3, singing in German), Bui Tuan Minh (11AE2, singing in Vietnamese), Nguyen Mai Huong (11AE4, singing in English), Ngo Minh Tuan (12AE3, singing in Indonesian), Nguyen Thanh Vinh (12AL3, singing in Spanish).
This artwork conveys a message of national pride, gratitude to previous generations, and affirms the aspirations of Vietnamese youth today for international integration.
According to Ms. Thuy, the special significance of the music video lies not only in its creativity in bringing a traditional song to the audience in nine languages, but also in its spirit of integration and assimilation. The students have brought Vietnamese music closer to international friends, while affirming the image of a young generation of Vietnamese people who are strong-willed and confident, walking hand in hand in the global era.
Earlier, the school organized a themed event titled "Under the National Flag," which was deeply moving when nearly 2,000 teachers and students formed a giant national flag shape on the school grounds and sang together the song "As if Uncle Ho were present on the day of great victory."

Students participated in the "Homeland in My Heart" competition, which included activities such as creating paintings, short videos, songs, and poems. The competition received 1,437 entries from students.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy believes that education is not only about imparting knowledge, but also about instilling in the hearts of each young generation the flame of love for their homeland, unwavering will, a sense of responsibility for the nation's future, and the aspiration to expand the realm of knowledge, enabling Vietnam to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's leading nations.

Sharing with the students on this occasion, Ms. Thuy emphasized that the country is entering a new era, an era of deep integration, artificial intelligence, and explosive scientific and technological advancements. Today's students, Generation Z, are growing up in a peaceful country, amidst deep integration and a borderless technological world.
"On this journey, I hope you will keep a passionate heart, a bright mind, and persistent hands, to continue the spirit of our ancestors and previous generations. Study hard to become proficient, train hard to become more resilient, and live to contribute to the community and the nation," she advised her students.
