Outstanding students of Hanoi show gratitude to parents and teachers

On the morning of May 23, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to honor and reward outstanding students of the capital in the 2024-2025 school year.

Among the 851 outstanding students, some of the students with the highest achievements include: Nguyen Duc Thai and Do Ha Phuong (students of Viet Duc High School) won second prize at the International Science and Technology Competition (ISEF 2025) in the US and first prize at the National Science and Technology Competition; Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Anh (student of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted) won a bronze medal at the 2025 Asian Physics Olympiad (APho) and first prize at the national physics competition; Dang Mai Khanh (student of Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted) won first prize at the national biology competition...

Speaking at the ceremony as a student representative, Do Ha Phuong affirmed that all successes do not come from individuals alone. This school year, Hanoi has 18 students winning international prizes; 200 students winning prizes in national competitions for excellent students - higher than in 2024.

The city also has 16 students and 6 student projects participating in the national science and technology research competition, all of which won prizes; 50 students won prizes in the "Students with startup ideas" competition in 2025; nearly 4,500 students participated in the city-level excellent student competition...
