Vietnamese students won 5 medals at the 2025 World Youth Physics Olympiad

The 2025 World Young Physicists' Olympiad (WYPO 2025) brings together students from many countries such as: Indonesia, Bolivia, Turkmenistan, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Venezuela, Bangladesh, Romania...

Five Vietnamese students have won two Silver Medals and three Bronze Medals at the 2025 World Youth Physics Olympiad.

Vietnamese students have won 2 Silver Medals and 3 Bronze Medals at the 2025 World Youth Physics Olympiad.

This is a prestigious playground founded by the OCSO Indonesia STEM Olympic Organization, to encourage high school students to explore scientific thinking, conduct experimental research and apply Physics knowledge into practice.

The contest content is divided into two levels:

Level A: For students in grades 7, 8 and 9.

Level B: For students in grades 10, 11 and 12.

The Vietnamese delegation participating in level A (for students in grades 7-9) includes 5 outstanding candidates from secondary schools in Hanoi , led by Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuc (Edufly JSC):

Nguyen Ba Tung Lam – Hanoi Star Primary and Secondary School – Silver Medal

Nguyen Khanh Ngoc – Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School – Silver Medal

Do Luong Thuy Duong – Thanh Xuan Secondary School – Bronze Medal

Hoang Bao Minh – Thanh Xuan Secondary School – Bronze Medal

Bui Ngoc Bao Linh – Thanh Xuan Secondary School – Bronze Medal

With 2 Silver Medals and 3 Bronze Medals, the impressive achievements at WYPO 2025 continue to affirm the quality of Vietnamese general education and the international integration capacity of the young generation of students in the field of natural sciences.
