After the Covid-19 pandemic, remote working has become increasingly popular, with more and more people looking for remote destinations to combine travel and work.
According to WFH Research, a company that tracks remote work trends, 12.7% of full-time American workers will work remotely by 2023. That number is expected to increase to 22% by 2025.

Freaking Nomads conducted the survey based on scoring (on a scale of 100) on the following factors: Ease of getting a remote work visa for digital nomads; Cost of living index compared to New York City (NYC); Housing rent index compared to NYC; Goods index compared to NYC; Restaurant price index compared to NYC; Local purchasing power compared to NYC; Number of co-working spaces per 1,00,000 residents (approximately 2019); Average mobile data speed Mbps; Average broadband speed Mbps.
