Truong Sa Liberation Veterans Association celebrates the 50th anniversary of Truong Sa Liberation Day

On April 15, in Nha Trang City, the Truong Sa Liberation Veterans Association held a meeting to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Truong Sa Liberation Day (April 29, 1975 - April 29, 2025). Nearly 100 veterans who directly participated in the liberation, guarding and protecting Truong Sa from the early days attended.

Leaders of Khanh Hoa Province Veterans Association awarded a certificate of merit from the Vietnam Veterans Association to the Truong Sa Liberation Veterans Association.

At the ceremony, the veterans recalled the profound memories, the heroic memories, the successful completion of the mission assigned by the Party and the people in the historic days of April 1975. After being discharged from the army, the soldiers who participated in the liberation and takeover of Truong Sa archipelago continued to promote the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers, made many contributions to the work of building the government, organizing the veterans' association and participating in economic development, helping and supporting each other to rise together.
