Conference to disseminate knowledge on adjusting birth rate and improving population quality for women's union members of Yen My commune

On the afternoon of November 30, the Provincial Department of Population and Family Planning coordinated with the Women's Union of Yen My commune (Yen Mo) to organize a conference to disseminate knowledge about adjusting birth rates and improving population quality for 70 women's union members of Yen My commune.

At the knowledge dissemination class, the reporter of the Provincial Department of Population and Family Planning provided the following contents: Difficulties and challenges of population work, current situation, causes of birth rate in Vietnam and Ninh Binh province; goals, tasks, solutions, in which the goal of the Ninh Binh Province Birth Rate Adjustment Program by 2025 is to reach the replacement birth rate (on average, each woman of childbearing age has 2.1 children) in the whole province, from 2026 onwards, firmly maintain the replacement birth rate in the whole province.

Besides, the conference also mentioned the content of improving population quality, taking advantage of the golden population opportunity to develop the homeland.

Through the conference, we aim to raise women's awareness in propagating and implementing population and development programs, stabilizing the scale and improving the quality of the population in the province.
