At the conference, the Department of Public Asset Management deployed the following contents: Preparation for the general inventory of public assets and the results of the general inventory of public assets; Article 5, Article 11 of Law No. 56/2024/QH15 on amending and supplementing the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets; deploying a number of decrees on regulations: Details of a number of articles of the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets, management, use and exploitation of irrigation infrastructure assets, inland waterways, procedures for establishing public ownership of assets and handling of assets with established public ownership and the Government's decree on rearrangement and handling of public assets such as houses and land. And a number of circulars of the Ministry of Finance guiding the implementation of decrees on public asset management.

Through the implementation of the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets (amended and supplemented) and related legal documents, management, inspection, and supervision of implementation will be strengthened, promoting the effectiveness of management and use of public assets, while preventing negative manifestations and loss of assets in ministries, branches, and localities.
