73rd Provincial Party Standing Committee Conference

In the first quarter of 2025, the province's economy continued to maintain stability and growth; GRDP growth rate reached 8.57% over the same period, ranking 20th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide and 3rd out of 14 provinces in the North Central and Central Coast regions. The agricultural and rural economy grew steadily; high-tech agriculture was effective. The recovery of the processing and manufacturing industry contributed to growth; renewable energy continued to be effective; tourism grew quite well. Budget revenue increased by 43.2% over the same period, import and export achieved positive results.

State management of land, minerals and environmental protection has been strengthened; key projects and driving forces have been focused on accelerating progress, especially proactively implementing tasks under the province's authority related to the nuclear power project. Social security policies have been fully and promptly implemented; care for policy beneficiaries and poor households has been better implemented. National defense, security and social order have been ensured; military service has been safely transferred and targets have been met. Practice, thrift, and prevention of corruption and negativity have been implemented resolutely and effectively. Party building, political system, political and ideological education have continued to be promoted. The work of streamlining the organizational apparatus of agencies and units, improving the quality and efficiency of operations of agencies in the political system has been urgently and resolutely implemented. The work of organizing congresses and preparing for congresses of Party committees at all levels has been seriously implemented under the direction of the central government.

Based on the assessments and comments on the context and situation, the Provincial Party Standing Committee unanimously proposed directions and tasks for the second quarter of 2025; at the same time, it was necessary to continue to closely follow the direction of the Central Government, focus on the immediate key tasks and the tasks of the whole year 2025, thereby determining the goals, tasks and feasible solutions, ensuring suitability and meeting development requirements.

Speaking at the key tasks of the second quarter of 2025, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that Party committees, authorities and the entire political system continue to closely follow the direction of the Central and Provincial Party Committees in related fields to make greater efforts and political determination, focus on leading and directing the synchronous, drastic and effective implementation of solutions, maximize favorable factors, new motivations, effectively resolve difficulties and obstacles, and strive to complete the set goals. In particular, focus on leading and implementing well the propaganda work to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ninh Thuan Liberation Day and the liberation of the South, and national reunification; Commemorating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025)... Directing the review and in-depth assessment of the implementation results of growth plans and scenarios, from which, researching and finding solutions to accelerate in other sectors and fields with room for growth to replace and compensate for sectors and fields facing difficulties or forecasted to not achieve the set targets. Focusing on implementing the province's tasks on nuclear power projects, especially site clearance, migration, resettlement.

Fully, promptly and effectively implement social security policies; improve the quality of healthcare, culture and education, improve people's material and spiritual life and income; effectively implement national target programs and the 90-day and night campaign to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, strive to complete the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. Well implement the work of ensuring national defense, security, order and social safety, preventing and combating crimes; strengthen the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity and maintain discipline and order.

Continue to promote the work of building the Party and the political system; innovate the Party's leadership and governance methods. Strengthen the work of grasping the ideological situation and public opinion to promptly direct and orient ideological work, associated with the fight against false, distorted and inciting information from hostile and reactionary forces, especially related to the implementation of nuclear power projects, the policy of rearranging administrative units at all levels, Party congresses at all levels... Focus on directing the preparation of grassroots congresses; coordinate in directing the preparation of documents and conditions for preparing provincial Party congresses according to the central direction. Prepare well for the reorganization of grassroots administrative units, abolish the district level, form new communes and new provinces. In the rearrangement, it is necessary to enhance the role of leaders, fight against localism, prepare well from specific projects and plans to each position, each cadre and civil servant associated with the implementation of cadre policies according to regulations; Do a good job of assets and finance during the implementation process.
