Online conference to deploy electronic health books and issue criminal records through VneID application nationwide

In recent times, the Ministry of Public Security has coordinated with central and local ministries, branches to focus on preparing legal conditions, technology infrastructure, data, and resources to deploy electronic health books, issue criminal records on VneID and has achieved many important results. The Ministry of Health has created over 98% of electronic health book data for people, synchronized through Vietnam Social Security to integrate into VneID. The Ministry of Public Security has coordinated with Vietnam Social Security and the Ministry of Health to create and integrate 911,696 data on referral papers, 2,629,117 data on re-examination appointment papers on VneID, to be ready for nationwide publication. The deployment of electronic health books will help people monitor their health status, reduce complicated and cumbersome administrative procedures; help hospitals save time and costs, serve accurate and effective diagnosis in medical examination and treatment. Regarding the issuance of criminal records via the VneID application, a pilot project has been implemented in Hanoi and Thua Thien Hue province, initially achieving remarkable results, bringing convenience and receiving enthusiastic support from the people.

Speaking at the conference, the Prime Minister highly appreciated the results achieved; pointed out the limitations and shortcomings; at the same time, requested the sectors and levels to focus on directing, operating, identifying key tasks, with clear and specific assignment and division of tasks, high determination, drastic action, strengthening coordination, transforming from awareness to action, especially promoting the high sense of responsibility, pioneering, exemplary of the leaders to successfully complete the goals and tasks in the implementation of electronic health books and issuance of judicial records through the VneID application nationwide. Continue to perfect mechanisms and policies, actively coordinate and focus on building a correct, sufficient, clean database, living in real time, connecting and sharing the database. Building a smooth infrastructure, smart human governance, all for the benefit, health, life, and convenience of the people. The Prime Minister emphasized 5 "promoting" and 5 "ensuring" in implementing electronic health books and issuing judicial records through the VneID application: Promoting strong digital transformation in thinking, action, and awareness; promoting administrative reform, especially administrative procedure reform associated with digital transformation; promoting the development of specialized national databases in the direction of connecting, interconnecting, integrating, and sharing databases; promoting the deployment of utilities on the VneID platform to serve people and businesses; promoting information and communication to create consensus, understanding, and skills throughout society. Ensuring the synchronous participation of ministries, branches, and localities; ensuring stable operation of digital infrastructure and digital platforms; ensuring human resources to deploy utility applications; ensuring that 100% of people and businesses in need have access to safe, convenient, and low-cost utilities; ensuring network safety and security...

At the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of ministries and branches pressed the button to deploy the pilot expansion of electronic health books and issuance of criminal records under VneID nationwide.
