On March 29, the Provincial Association of the Elderly (NCT) held a conference to review the first quarter's work, deploy tasks for the second quarter of 2024; and sign a coordination program with the Department of Population and Family Planning.

In the first quarter, the Association at all levels directed the branches and groups in the whole province to admit 3,612 members, bringing the total number of elderly members to 145,354/153,640, reaching 94.6%.
