(CLO) Towards the 7th Congress of Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association, term 2024-2029 and the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, on November 5, Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association organized a delegation to offer incense and report to President Ho Chi Minh at his Memorial House in Phu Dinh commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province.
At the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House on the top of De Pass, Phu Dinh Commune, the Delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense, expressing their infinite gratitude to the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, World Cultural Celebrity, Founder of Vietnam's Revolutionary Journalism; and the heroic martyrs - those who sacrificed their blood and bones for the cause of national liberation and for the happiness of the people.
The delegation offered incense at President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House (Deo, Phu Dinh commune, Dinh Hoa district).
On behalf of the Delegation, Comrade Nguyen Bao Lam, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association , Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association reported to President Ho Chi Minh the achievements of the Provincial Journalists Association in the 2019-2024 term: The Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association has closely followed the Resolutions and Directives of the Party on press work and activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Journalists Association; constantly innovated in the content and form of activities, successfully completed the goals and tasks set by the 6th Congress of the Association, actively and effectively contributed to the innovation and development of the province and the revolutionary press.
Promoting the tradition of solidarity, overcoming all difficulties of previous generations of journalists and especially thanks to the efforts of the entire team of journalists today, the Provincial Journalists Association has excellently completed its annual tasks and was awarded the following titles: Emulation Flag of the Government for excellently and comprehensively completing its tasks, leading the patriotic emulation movement of Thai Nguyen province in 2022; Flag of excellent emulation unit and Certificate of Merit of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Flag of excellent emulation and Certificate of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee.
The delegation offered incense and visited the Birthplace of the Vietnam Journalists Association in Roong Khoa hamlet, Diem Mac commune, Dinh Hoa district.
Before that, the delegation visited the relic site where the Vietnam Journalists Association was founded in Roong Khoa hamlet, Diem Mac commune. Here, on April 21, 1950, the Association of Journalists (now the Vietnam Journalists Association) was established, with its headquarters being a simple thatched house located among cool green tea gardens and simple roofs.
As planned, the 7th Congress of Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association will be held on November 6 and 7, 2024.
