Workshop 'Knowledge Extension - Sustainable Resources'

Vietsovpetro Joint Venture has just successfully organized the Workshop 'Extending Knowledge - Sustainable Resources', on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20).

This event is part of the core activities of the Project "Building a knowledge management system and developing Vietsovpetro human resources according to ESG (Environment, Society and Sustainable Governance) orientation".

The workshop has special significance, as an opportunity for Vietsovpetro's Board of Directors to express deep gratitude, acknowledge and honor the persistent contributions of the internal lecturers, experts, and staff who have tirelessly shared valuable experiences and knowledge in training and developing human resources during 44 years of construction and development of Vietsovpetro.

At the workshop, Mr. Dinh Trung Kien, First Deputy Director, Chief Engineer of the Center for Safety and Environmental Protection (AT&BVMT) shared: Over the years, the Center has played a core and strategic role in the training of the Vietsovpetro Joint Venture. The Center has directly organized vocational and foreign language training, along with training in essential knowledge and skills on safety and environment for thousands of employees.

Mr. Dinh Trung Kien emphasized that the highest goal of the Center is to improve the quality of training so that each employee after completing the course can immediately apply knowledge and skills to production practices, contributing to ensuring safety and efficiency of work. The Center is extremely honored to welcome and apply digital transformation technology to the training process. Integrating this new technology will help the Center manage more closely, optimize training programs, ensure knowledge connection and best meet production requirements in the digital age.

The most important highlight at the Workshop was the official activation and operation of the new training software system (Digital Learning Platform), aiming at: Centralized management of training programs, records and data; connecting professional knowledge between generations of employees, especially in the context of aging labor and the risk of losing knowledge accumulated over decades; building a strong digital science repository - Vietsovpetro Knowledge Library; assessing capacity according to standards, positions and career paths.

The digitalization and modernization of this training system is expected to become the central infrastructure of Vietsovpetro's human resources and knowledge management ecosystem in the future, while promoting the goal of becoming a leading learning enterprise in the industry.

The workshop was not only a gratitude activity but also an important professional forum. Delegates reviewed the results achieved in training, exchanged practical experiences, received multi-dimensional perspectives, and proposed solutions to improve training quality, meeting the requirements of digital transformation, energy transition and sustainable development (ESG) of organizations and the energy industry.

Mr. Mai Dang Tuan, Deputy General Director of Vietsovpetro emphasized: “I highly appreciate the strategic significance of the workshop. After more than 40 years of development, we affirm that people are the core asset, the center of creating knowledge and sustainable value for the Joint Venture”.

This workshop is an important activity in the series of ESG-oriented knowledge management project implementations, helping us standardize, digitize, systematize internal knowledge and promote continuous learning and self-learning models.

The official activation of the training software system (LMS) is a key transformation step, ensuring that Vietsovpetro has enough capacity and innovative thinking to adapt to the context of global energy transition and digital transformation, creating a sustainable future. He expects that this system will become the central infrastructure of the Vietsovpetro human resources and knowledge management ecosystem in the future.

On the occasion of the upcoming Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, on behalf of the Leadership of Vietsovpetro Joint Venture, Mr. Mai Dang Tuan expressed his sincere and deepest gratitude to the entire team: Internal lecturers, experts, managers, key engineers - Those who silently share knowledge, experience, valuable lessons to create intellectual values ​​and spread the learning culture at Vietsovpetro.

The workshop “Extended Knowledge - Sustainable Resources” ended successfully, opening up new directions and being an important driving force for Vietsovpetro to continue developing high-quality human resources in the ESG direction.
