Developing quality human resources is becoming an urgent and strategic requirement for development, especially in the trend of digital transformation, green development and increasingly deep international integration, a key factor in promoting growth and ensuring sustainable development.
In reality, the quality of Son La's human resources is still limited. The rate of trained workers with degrees and certificates is only about 27%, lower than the national average. Meanwhile, many areas identified by the province as key, such as high-tech agriculture , eco-tourism, renewable energy, rural logistics, etc., are seriously lacking in a workforce with professional skills, digital capacity and integration ability. The reason is that the connection between schools - businesses - learners is not tight; the training program is not close to the reality of production - business; the work of forecasting and dividing labor is still weak; the mechanism and policies for training and using human resources after training are not really synchronous and flexible.
At the workshop, experts, scientists and delegates discussed and assessed the current situation and shortcomings in human resource training in Son La province; analyzed and clarified the requirements of the current labor market; and proposed practical and feasible solutions to train human resources in line with the actual needs of businesses, localities and society.
Through the workshop, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations synthesized and developed a consulting report to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, serving policy making in the field of education, training and human resource development in the locality.
