2025 sticky rice cutting and cake making contest in Bac Me commune

On the morning of October 25, at Ban Noong village, Bac Me commune, the 2025 sticky rice cutting and rice cake making contest was held.

The organizers awarded prizes to the winning teams in both competitions.

The competition was attended by 5 teams from the villages of Na Pau, Ban Khen, Na Cap, Na Phia and Ban Noong. Each team had 6 members and went through two rounds: Rice cutting in the field, lasting 30 minutes; Sticky rice cooking and Banh Giay making, lasting 60 minutes.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Ban Noong village in the sticky rice cutting competition and the first prize to Ban Khen village in the rice cake making competition. At the same time, the second, third and encouragement prizes were awarded to the participating teams.
