BIDV Cultural Ambassador Contest for the Northern Dynamic Region and Red River Delta

On July 13, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development ( BIDV ) organized the BIDV Cultural Ambassador Contest - Regional Round of the Northern Dynamic Region and the Red River Delta with the participation of 88 contestants representing 24 branches in the region. This is the first region in the BIDV system to organize a contest to find outstanding contestants to participate in the final round of the whole system.

The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags to representatives of 24 branches participating in the BIDV Cultural Ambassador Contest - Regional Round of the Northern Dynamic Region and the Red River Delta.

BIDV Cultural Ambassador Contest - Northern Dynamic Region and Red River Delta round witnessed the exciting competition of 88 contestants from 24 Branches in the region. These are the most outstanding grassroots cultural ambassadors representing the Branches.

The teams brought to the contest many unique performances, with many traditional cultural features of the locality and an overview of BIDV's core cultural values.

In the Introduction round, the teams brought carefully prepared presentations, with serious and methodical training, creating an exciting and bustling atmosphere and introducing the core values in BIDV's Culture.

88 candidates competed in the Knowledge round with content covering professional expertise, corporate culture, and BIDV culture.

In the Knowledge section, candidates will answer 25 questions covering general knowledge about history, business strategy, brand strategy, cultural handbook, risk control culture, creative learning culture, relevant internal regulations of BIDV and key projects of the system...

Outstanding candidates participated in the Behavioral round, answering questions about solutions and ideas for handling real-life situations.

Through 2 rounds, the jury selected 11 best contestants to participate in the Behavior round with questions about solutions and ideas for handling real-life situations.

The fans cheered enthusiastically for the contestants.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes. 8 contestants with the highest scores including the first prize winner, 2 second prize winners, 3 third prize winners and 2 consolation prize winners with higher scores were also selected to participate in the final round of the whole system, expected to be held in Hanoi at the end of this year.

Contestant Nguyen Thi Huyen Dieu (candidate number 86), from BIDV Tam Diep Branch ( Ninh Binh province) excellently won the first prize of the contest.

The Organizing Committee awarded second prize to contestants from BIDV Hung Yen Branch and BIDV Hai Phong Branch.

The organization of the 2024 Cultural Ambassador Competition is an activity to implement the plan to implement the BIDV Cultural Handbook with 5 core values: "Wisdom - Faith - Integrity - Professionalism - Aspiration", along with 5 ethical standards, 9 codes of conduct and 18 notes in communication and performance of duties. At the same time, discover and build a team of cultural ambassadors to spread, propagate and practice culture widely in each officer.

Three contestants from BIDV Quang Ninh, Thai Binh and Hung Yen branches won third prize in the contest.

The contest also creates cohesion and emulation movements, contributing to enhancing BIDV's reputation, position and competitiveness towards customers, partners, shareholders and the social community; is a foundation for replicating initiatives and ideas for developing BIDV's culture through the inspirational role of the cultural ambassador team.
