BIDV launches 'Stable Home' loan package for officials

(Chinhphu.vn) - The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has just launched a credit package called "Stable Housing" with preferential interest rates starting from only 5%/year, exclusively for cadres, civil servants, and administrative officers who receive their salaries through BIDV accounts, to support housing needs, car purchases, or living expenses.

From July 1, 2025, the whole country will enter the stage of administrative unit rearrangement according to Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly . This is an important step in the process of reforming the administrative apparatus, with the joint efforts of many levels and sectors. Accompanying this process is a team of administrative and career staff - those who are striving to overcome changes in workplaces, processes and working conditions to continue to fulfill their tasks well and serve the people.

BIDV offers preferential interest rates from only 5%/year for administrative and career staff

Understanding the difficulties and the need to "settle down" to "start a career", BIDV has launched the preferential loan package "Secure settlement" as a practical financial solution. Accordingly, customers can borrow to buy a house, buy a car or consume with an interest rate of only 5%/year (depending on the location), a limit of up to 5 billion VND and a maximum term of 20 years, helping to reduce financial pressure and create initiative for life plans.

Not only preferential loans, administrative staff receiving salaries through BIDV are also exempted from and reduced many types of fees: issuance and annual fees for debit cards, international credit cards, free withdrawals at BIDV ATMs for the first year, and cashback incentives of up to 10% of transaction value. In addition, BIDV continues to implement the "0 fee" policy for salary accounts: no minimum balance requirement, free money transfer, free OTT, SmartBanking maintenance fee and many B-point incentives.

BIDV also adds online deposit interest rates up to 0.6%/year, and allows B-points to be converted into preferential savings interest rates - a pioneering form of customer appreciation in the market.

With the "Stable Housing" package, BIDV affirms its pioneering role in accompanying the public administration team, contributing to stabilizing social security and actively supporting the implementation of State policies.
