More than 1,000 students participate in "Citizenship - Student Activity Week"

On May 7, Thai Nguyen University Branch in Lao Cai province organized the "Citizen - Learner Activity Week" in the middle of the 2024 - 2025 school year.

The activity week was attended by 1,100 second and third year students of the Branch.

At the program, the reporter of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the Provincial Police informed students and learners about the topics: Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style on practicing thrift and fighting waste; outstanding domestic and international current events, economics, politics , and society in 2025 and student startups.

Along with that, students - learners also learn about contents related to school violence; propaganda on crime prevention, high-tech crime, social evils; fight against human trafficking, drugs; fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue, etc.

Comrade Phung Nam Trung, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, delivered the topics.

Participating in the activity week, students and learners can discuss and dialogue with the Branch leaders, write a summary, evaluate the end of the study period and submit a report on the implementation results to the Ministry of Education and Training and Thai Nguyen University according to regulations.

“Citizenship - Learner Activity Week” helps students - learners grasp and update issues of concern in the political - economic - social life of the country, on that basis, apply creatively and appropriately to their studies; raise students' awareness of the rights, obligations, and sense of responsibility of citizens - learners in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, regulations of the education sector, of Thai Nguyen University and the school, meeting the goals and requirements of training and practice for learners.

The study week helps students gain more knowledge and skills in their studies.
