Attending the ceremony were Vietnamese Consul General in Frankfurt Luu Xuan Dong; along with representatives of departments, branches and nearly 100 delegates who are leaders, publishers and cultural organizations of Vietnam. On the international side, there was Ms. Claudia Kaiser - Vice President of Frankfurt Book Fair and representatives of publishing associations from ASEAN, Japan, the Netherlands, Bulgaria...

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Phan Tam emphasized that the Frankfurt Book Fair is a symbol of global creativity and cultural cooperation, and affirmed that Vietnam wishes to bring Vietnamese books closer to international readers. This year, more than 20 Vietnamese publishing units brought over 1,200 books in many fields such as literature, history, culture, children, science and digital publishing, contributing to promoting the image, knowledge and identity of Vietnam.

The Vietnam Book Space has an area of about 100m², located in hall 5.1 - the central location of the fair. Delegates from both sides performed the opening ceremony, marking the prominent presence of Vietnam at the event.
During the working trip, the Vietnamese delegation also visited and presented books to the Vietnamese Consulate General and the Vietnamese community in Frankfurt, continuing to spread the spirit of reading and love of Vietnamese culture in the host country.
