More than 10,000 team members participated in the drum and trumpet performance with the theme "The Country is Full of Joy"

On April 12, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers coordinated with the City Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Young Pioneers Council to organize a drum and trumpet art performance with the theme "The Country is Full of Joy."

The program is a meaningful activity, expressing the deep gratitude of children across the country to generations of fathers and grandfathers who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the country.

Along with the main bridge in Ho Chi Minh City, the art performance program is also directly connected to 62 provinces and cities and online to more than 150 children's palaces and houses nationwide.

In addition, the program has the participation of more than 10,000 members who are active in the Ceremonial Teams of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team across the country, creating an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere, spreading the spirit of solidarity of Vietnamese children.

Each performance in the program was elaborately staged, blending with immortal epics such as “Liberating the South,” “Marching to Saigon,” “The Day of Total Victory,” “The Reunion Song,” and “As if Uncle Ho were with us on the day of great victory.”

Along with that, the bustling drums and resounding trumpets resounded like musical notes in a sacred symphony of patriotism, expressing the belief and aspiration for unity, along with the never-ending fire in the hearts of the young buds of the Fatherland.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers Nguyen Pham Duy Trang said that the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign opened an era of independence, freedom and unity for the Vietnamese people. This was not only the end of a war, but also an affirmation of the resilient and indomitable will of an entire nation, a brilliant embodiment of the spirit "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom."

Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang hopes that the children will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and compete to achieve many achievements in the third week of competition and the following weeks of the peak competition period to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

“Each achievement and effort of the children will be a “beautiful flower” offered to the Fatherland, a vivid demonstration of the spirit and strong will to rise of the Vietnamese youth generation - a generation with big dreams, big aspirations and great responsibilities,” said the Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Young Pioneers Council organized the City's "Trumpet Sound" Festival for the 2024-2025 school year with the theme "I am a soldier of the Liberation Army of Uncle Ho's City."

According to the Organizing Committee, the Festival is not only a place for children to show their talents and abilities, but also an opportunity to exchange and learn, spread patriotism and deep gratitude to the previous generation; at the same time, affirm the role of the Young Pioneers in educating traditions, training skills, collective spirit and the will to rise of children in Ho Chi Minh City.

The festival gathered 38 ceremonial teams representing teams from districts, towns and Thu Duc city.

Each team presented a drum and trumpet performance combined with creative formation movements, demonstrating solidarity and self-management skills.

The judges will score based on technique, coordination, creativity and artistic quality. The teams are divided into two groups: Primary and Secondary, creating a rich playground, suitable for each age group of team members./.
