More than 30 businesses are connected to supply and demand with distributors.

On the afternoon of September 17, in a series of events at the Hue Festival Trade Fair 2024, the Center for Investment, Trade and Enterprise Support of Thua Thien Hue province organized a conference to connect supply and demand between Thua Thien Hue province and other provinces and cities in 2024. At the conference, 35 businesses and units were connected to supply and demand with distributors.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thao - Director of the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support of Thua Thien Hue province said that this conference sets the following goals: Support enterprises in the province and other provinces and cities to find outlets for consuming products and goods, expanding and developing markets; forming a direct exchange channel between state management agencies, supplying enterprises, production facilities of localities with distribution systems and supermarkets across the country; strengthen cooperation and promotion activities, connecting manufacturers and suppliers with enterprises, supermarket systems, and distributors; create maximum favorable conditions for buyers and sellers to connect directly, reduce intermediary costs, promote the circulation of goods, contributing to the formation of sustainable supply chains; reasonable and highly effective organization methods.

“Through this conference, we will hear opinions, share, discuss, and contribute ideas on limitations, potentials, and solutions to find outlets for products, bring quality goods to supermarket shelves, distribution systems, expand joint venture markets, and invest between provinces in the Central region and the whole country…” , Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thao added.

At the conference, units and businesses contributed ideas and discussed issues of bringing products to trade centers and supermarkets; market approaches, product outputs, and linkages in production and product consumption between businesses... between provinces in the Central region and the whole country.

At the end of the conference, 35 pairs of memorandums of understanding were signed to connect supply and demand between distributors, suppliers, businesses, business households, and cooperatives inside and outside the province, creating a premise to bring goods to supermarkets and distribution channels.
