Professor Tran Thanh Van, President of the Vietnam Meeting Association, delivered a speech at the conference.

In his opening remarks at the conference, Professor Tran Thanh Van, President of the Vietnam Meeting Association and Director of the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), shared: “The International Conference on the Search for Axion Particles is a forum connecting theoretical and experimental physicists to come together for exchange and discussion. I believe that through the exchanges at the conference, we can expand new ideas and research collaborations to search for axion particles in the future.”

The conference serves as a forum for theoretical and experimental physicists from the fields of particle physics, astrophysics, and cosmology to present their latest research, experimental results, and ideas about the axion particle—one of the leading mysteries in physics today.

The conference was attended by many of the world's leading scientists.

Through these discussions, scientists can develop new research directions to focus on in order to solve the mysteries of the universe. This is also an opportunity for young scientists and graduate students to update their knowledge in the field and develop their research skills.

With over 50 papers presented at the plenary session, the conference focused on discussing recent advances through key themes: CP symmetry problems in strong interactions and axion models; Axion cosmology; Searching for axions in galaxies using haloscopes and other antennas; Searching for axions from the Sun using telescopes and underground detectors; Searching for axion-like particles using particle accelerators; Searching for axion-like particles at low energies, the fifth force, and the phenomenon of light passing through walls.

In particular, the conference focuses on creating opportunities and encouraging young researchers, doctoral and postdoctoral students to actively participate and present their research directions. From this platform, researchers can learn, exchange ideas, and seek opportunities for scientific collaboration with leading experts in the future. The conference takes place from August 5-9.
