The arrival of the bZ4X electric SUV marks a significant step in Toyota's electrification strategy, following the EV models that luxury brand Lexus has previously introduced to the region, such as the RZ and UX 300e. In terms of appearance, the 2026 Toyota bZ4X is developed on the e-TNGA platform specifically for electric vehicles. The car measures 4,690 x 1,860 x 1,650 mm (length x width x height) and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. It boasts a modern look with sharp design language.
At the front, the Toyota bZ4X features slim LED headlights combined with daytime running lights for a streamlined visual effect. The body lines are accentuated by contrasting black trim, giving the overall look a more robust and deep feel. Two-tone 20-inch alloy wheels further enhance the sporty look of this all-electric SUV. At the rear, the bZ4X stands out with its seamless LED taillight strip, in keeping with Toyota's new design style. The trunk features a convenient hands-free opening mechanism, especially useful when carrying a lot of luggage. With a ground clearance of up to 200 mm, this model is well-suited for urban driving as well as rough roads or lightly flooded areas. Inside the bZ4X's cabin, modern amenities stand out, including a 7-inch digital instrument panel and a centrally mounted 14-inch infotainment screen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The vehicle is equipped with two wireless chargers, USB-C ports for both rows of seats, synthetic leather seats with heating and cooling functions in the front seats and heating for the rear seats. The 8-way power adjustable driver's seat with memory function provides convenience during use. In terms of safety features, the bZ4X boasts the Toyota Safety Sense package, which includes features such as: pre-collision warning, automatic and adaptive high beams, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and a 360-degree panoramic camera system. These technologies enhance vehicle control and ensure maximum safety for users. Powering the bZ4X are two electric motors delivering a combined output of 343 horsepower, integrated with the X-MODE all-wheel drive system. This model accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds, while offering a range of 570 km (NEDC) or 481 km (WLTP).
Both support 22 kW AC charging and 150 kW DC fast charging, allowing them to charge from 10% to 80% in just 28 minutes when using a standard CCS Combo fast charging station. In the Philippine market, the 2026 Toyota bZ4X is only available in a single variant with multiple color options. The starting price is 2.699 million PHP (approximately 1.2 billion VND).
