Du Già National Park - Đồng Văn Stone Plateau is located in the communes of Tùng Bá, Minh Sơn, and Du Già in Tuyên Quang province. This area boasts high biodiversity. Recently, through a system of camera traps set up by the Khau Ca Research Team and the snub-nosed monkey monitoring team in Du Gia National Park - Dong Van Karst Plateau, many images of rare animals have been recorded.
According to records, in addition to its diverse flora, Du Gia National Park - Dong Van Karst Plateau is also home to 318 species of terrestrial vertebrates, including 72 species of mammals, 162 species of birds, and 84 species of reptiles and amphibians.
Among these are 35 rare animal species. Most notably, the snub-nosed monkey – one of the 25 most endangered primate species globally – currently lives in the Khau Ca forest, within Du Gia National Park – Dong Van Karst Plateau. Besides the snub-nosed monkey, rare and precious animals such as the black giant squirrel, flying squirrel, crab-hooked civet, silver-cheeked civet, and red-faced monkey have also been captured on camera traps in Du Gia National Park - Dong Van Karst Plateau. In recent times, the Forest Protection Force and other relevant agencies and units have intensified the implementation of numerous measures to protect rare and endangered wild animal and plant species in Du Gia National Park - Dong Van Karst Plateau.
