Chairman of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Kien Giang Province Tran Chi Dung (left cover) presents money donated by VNHELP (USA) to farmer members of Thanh Hoa Farmers' Cooperative, Nam Du Commune (Kien Hai).
VNHELP (USA) provided 2 projects worth 589.3 million VND. Specifically, the oyster mushroom growing project received non-refundable aid of 39.3 million VND from VNHELP for 3 households who are members of the Farmers' Association of Nam Du Commune (Kien Hai). The project implementation period is from 2024 to 2025.
The cobia farming project was supported by VNHELP for 11 farmer members of Thanh Hoa Farmers' Cooperative, Nam Du Commune (Kien Hai) with an aid capital of 550 million VND, of which 110 million VND is non-refundable aid, the remaining amount is recovered by VNHELP to carry out other projects.
The Union of Friendship Organizations of Kien Giang province and the Farmers' Association of Kien Giang province visited the cage fish farming model of Ms. Tran Thi Hoi - Director of Thanh Hoa Farmers' Cooperative.
These aid projects aim to help farmers in Nam Du commune (Kien Hai) access livelihood models, create jobs, generate income and improve their economic life; and support farmers in accessing new and effective production models.
