Technical meeting, draw for U11 Football Tournament

The organizing committee and representatives of the teams and professional departments carry out the organization, expertise, and technical work, draw lots to divide the groups, and arrange the competition schedule.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dak Nong Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, along with the referee team and representatives of 8 football teams from 8 districts and cities in the province.

Mr. Cao Song Viet, member of the U11 Tournament Organizing Committee, affirmed that the Organizing Committee carefully prepared for the tournament, creating a useful playground, discovering and nurturing sports talents for children.

The U11 Football Tournament - Dak Nong Newspaper Cup 2025 is a sports playground for children, held for the first time in the province, with practical significance in discovering and nurturing football talents, while contributing to promoting the sports movement in the province. The tournament is also a practical activity to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels and towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Mr. Do Ngoc Nha, representative of the professional unit, requested that the football teams soon confirm the list of players from the schools and provide images of the team to serve the propaganda and promotion work for the U11 Football Tournament - Dak Nong Newspaper Cup in 2025.

At the meeting, the Organizing Committee disseminated the competition regulations, professional and technical regulations and agreed on the organization plan to ensure fairness, transparency and efficiency throughout the entire tournament process.

Mr. Truong The Minh, representative of Tuy Duc District Football Team, shared the financial difficulties and said that if the team still cannot arrange resources by the competition day, they can withdraw from the tournament.

The units discussed and answered suggestions and questions from the teams, creating the most favorable conditions for students to participate in the competition.

Mr. Tran Duc Vinh, representative of the Krong No District Football Team, proposed that the Organizing Committee support connecting with insurance providers before the tournament, in order to create conditions for the teams to buy insurance for the children, ensuring safety during the competition.

Regarding financial difficulties, the Organizing Committee will discuss with localities to create the most favorable conditions for participating teams. In addition, the Organizing Committee will contact insurance companies to support teams in purchasing insurance for athletes. Mr. Ngo Van Khoa, representative of Dak Mil District Football Team, requested that the football teams provide health certificates to athletes as soon as possible to ensure that they are physically fit to compete, and at the same time recommended that the Organizing Committee reduce administrative procedures.

After discussing and agreeing on the technical content, the teams drew lots to divide the groups. As a result, the 8 teams were divided into 2 groups, competing in a round-robin format. The first and second teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals. All matches will take place at Dak Nong Provincial Youth Union Stadium.

The tournament is scheduled to officially open on the morning of May 29. The final match, closing ceremony and awards ceremony will be held on May 31.
