Merging Hoa Binh Newspaper and Provincial Radio and Television Station into Hoa Binh Newspaper

NDO - On April 18, Comrade Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee, signed Decision No. 1510-QD/TU of the Provincial Party Committee's Executive Committee deciding to merge Hoa Binh Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station into Hoa Binh Newspaper, directly under the Provincial Party Committee.

According to the Project to merge Hoa Binh Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station approved by the Standing Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee on April 4, 2025, the merger of the two press agencies of the province will both streamline the apparatus and innovate the organizational and management model towards convergence, multimedia and multi-platform. Towards the press agency being granted financial autonomy, implementing the ordering mechanism for press agencies to serve political tasks. Innovating the form and content, meeting the requirements of general information, specialized information and policy communication to serve each group of readers, regions and the public.

Hoa Binh Newspaper is a public service unit under the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee; is the mouthpiece of the Party Committee, government and people of Hoa Binh province; an information bridge between the Party, government and people. Performs the functions of information, propaganda, press and media activities according to the Party's regulations and the State's laws.

The total number of leaders of Hoa Binh Newspaper is 6, including 1 head and 5 deputies. The number of deputies will be reduced within 5 years from the date the competent authority approves the Project, ensuring compliance with regulations. The internal organizational structure of Hoa Binh Newspaper includes 10 departments (3 fewer departments); 10 department heads (3 fewer), and the number of deputy department heads remains the same. The total number of employees is 131 (124 people receive salaries from the state budget, 7 people receive salaries from career revenue).

Hoa Binh Newspaper's products include: Daily Hoa Binh Newspaper, Sunday Hoa Binh Newspaper, Electronic Hoa Binh Newspaper with specialized pages: Media, Podcast, reading printed newspapers, Megastory, Hoabinhtv...; radio; television. Hoa Binh Newspaper participates in communication on social networking platforms according to legal regulations, manages channels and pages on social networks: Facebook Fanpage, Youtube, Tiktok, zalo, instagram...
