Lang Son Education Sector confidently enters the 2025-2030 term

NDO - On May 28, the Party Committee of the Department of Education and Training of Lang Son province held the Congress for the 2025-2030 term with the theme: Discipline - Responsibility - Creativity - Quality. This is a model Congress of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Lang Son province.

The 2020-2025 term is considered a special period forthe education and training sector of Lang Son province. The context of many fluctuations such as the Covid-19 pandemic, the implementation of the new general education program, the implementation of the 2019 Education Law... has posed great challenges. However, with the close leadership of the Department's Party Committee, the solidarity and efforts of the entire sector, many important targets have been completed and exceeded the set targets.

In the work of Party building, the results of the annual assessment of the quality of Party members and grassroots Party organizations have all achieved positive results: the rate of Party members completing their tasks excellently reached nearly 18%; the rate of Party members completing their tasks well and excellently reached over 99%, exceeding the set target by 4.6%. The rate of Party cells completing their tasks well reached over 97%.

For 5 consecutive years (2020-2024), the Department Party Committee has been classified as having fulfilled its tasks well. Notably, the model of "Party members at the age of 18" has been effectively implemented, contributing to the development of a successor team right from among students.

In the professional field, the quality of education is increasingly improved. Educational results continue to be positive. The graduation rate has increased steadily (97.09% - 99.10%). The number of students winning national prizes remains high (2023: 33 prizes; 2024: 34 prizes). Special attention is paid to education programs for mountainous and ethnic minority areas, with a sharp increase in the rate of solidified schools, ensuring the right to education for students in disadvantaged areas.

In particular, digital transformation and the application of information technology have become prominent highlights. The education and training sector of Lang Son province has gradually built a smart education platform, expanded the use of digital learning accounts and piloted the model of "Digital Education for All" - popularizing digital skills for students and teachers.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Education and Training sector of Lang Son province determined to take the spirit of solidarity, build a clean and strong Party organization; promote the spirit of innovation and creativity; promote the development of science , technology, and digital transformation to improve the quality of education and develop human resources.

Thereby, the congress determined that in the coming term, it will continue to build a strong Party organization in terms of politics, ideology and organization. In addition, the work of improving the quality of comprehensive education is implemented by promoting the application of modern teaching models, effectively combining traditional methods; enhancing the application of technology, artificial intelligence (AI), big data analysis in teaching, assessment and learning management to promptly support students in difficulty, towards personalizing teaching.

The education and training sector of Lang Son province has determined to focus on making breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, to improve the quality of education, develop high-quality human resources and build a modern, integrated education system.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province, praised the efforts and comprehensive achievements of the education and training sector over the past 5 years, and requested the entire Party Committee of the Department to continue to maintain its core role in leading the innovation of local education. This is a milestone that clearly affirms the comprehensive leadership role of the Party Committee over the entire sector.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Education and Training of Lang Son for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 9 comrades. Comrade Hoang Quoc Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lang Son, was re-elected as Secretary of the Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

The Party Executive Committee of Lang Son Department of Education and Training for the 2025-2030 term was introduced to the congress.

New confidence and determination have been aroused, creating momentum for Lang Son education to continue to rise in the new development stage, towards the goal of building a modern, humane and internationally integrated education system.
