People's Committees of communes and wards urgently mobilize forces to evacuate people in riverside, estuary, lagoon and coastal areas at risk of being affected by rising water, high tides, strong winds, big waves and areas at risk of flooding, flash floods, landslides, etc.; strengthen propaganda and instruct people to proactively stock up on food, drinking water, essential items and spare batteries; prepare evacuation plans to ensure family safety; absolutely do not allow personal vehicles to travel on rivers, lakes, canals, etc.
The City Military Command and the City Police directed local forces to deploy response plans, proactively organize and deploy forces and vehicles to be ready to support localities in responding to storms, floods, evacuating people, and rescuing victims.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment directs and urges localities to deploy work to ensure safety of reservoirs and irrigation dams; operate inter-reservoirs in the Huong River basin according to regulations.
