Instruct ships to know the direction of the storm when granting permission to leave port

The Vietnam Maritime Administration has directed the Maritime Port and Inland Waterways Authorities to continuously monitor the storm's developments and movement to inform and guide ships when granting permission to leave port. This is the content requested by the Ministry of Construction in the recent dispatch on responding to storm No. 14 in the East Sea.

In addition, to implement the Official Dispatch No. 29/CD-BCĐ-BNNMT dated November 10, 2025 of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee and to proactively and promptly respond to storms, the Ministry of Construction requires counting and strictly managing sailing and maintaining regular contact with vessels operating in the storm-affected area, including transport vessels and tourist vessels to promptly handle possible bad situations; check and guide anchoring at ports, especially anchoring areas around islands.

Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center prepares forces and vehicles to participate in search and rescue when ordered.

For Vietnam Maritime Electronic Information Company Limited, direct the coastal information station system to monitor, update, immediately process information and promptly notify the location, developments, and direction of the storm so that vehicles, captains of ships and boats operating at sea know to proactively avoid, escape, or not move into dangerous areas.
