Responding to the third national art photography contest and exhibition "Fatherland on the Shore"

Recently, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee issued a document launching the response to the third national art photography contest and exhibition "Fatherland on the Shore of Waves" chaired by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, in coordination with relevant ministries and branches.

According to the contest rules, all Vietnamese citizens aged 15 and over, both domestic and foreign, and foreigners working and living in Vietnam are eligible to participate.

The content of the entries revolves around the following topics: the natural beauty of Vietnam's seas and islands; the daily life, work and production of fishermen at sea; activities to protect sovereignty over seas and islands; economic, social and cultural works on seas and islands; marine tourism and sustainable development; typical examples and advanced models in socio-economic development and protection of the country's sovereignty over seas and islands; application of science and technology in marine economic development and protection of ocean ecosystems; international cooperation activities on marine and island development; important steps in the strategy of marine economic development associated with international integration, sustainable exploitation of marine resources and affirmation of the position of a strong marine nation; socio-economic development achievements of coastal localities after nearly 40 years of the country's renovation process...

The rules require creative spaces to include 28 coastal provinces and cities: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau and Kien Giang.

Each author can submit up to 10 works to the contest, either color or black and white, created from 2023 to present. The award structure includes 2 award systems for 2 categories of single photos and photo series, specifically:

2 First prizes, each prize includes: crystal logo; certificate with bonus of 20 million VND from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and gold medal, certificate from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

4 Second prizes, each prize includes: crystal logo; certificate with bonus of 15 million VND from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and silver medal, certificate from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

6 Third prizes, each prize includes: crystal logo; certificate with bonus of 10 million VND from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and bronze medal, certificate from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

10 Consolation prizes, each prize includes: crystal logo; certificate with bonus of 5 million VND from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and certificate from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
