HUTECH TECHSHOW 2025: Nearly 70 businesses 'hunt' for talent in the young human resource incubator

According to the forecast of the Center for Human Resources Demand Forecasting and Labor Market Information of Ho Chi Minh City (FALMI), by 2030, the city will need from 520,000 to 580,000 workers in the fields of Engineering, Technology, Construction, Architecture - Fine Arts, accounting for 38% of the total human resource demand and leading in terms of employment opportunities. This is a testament to the growth potential and attractiveness of this industry.

Grasping the trend, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized the Technology Exhibition and Recruitment Day for Engineering - Technology - HUTECH TECHSHOW 2025, gathering nearly 70 businesses, bringing nearly 3,000 job opportunities. The event is both a "stage" for students to introduce 370 outstanding graduation projects, unique products from students in the fields of Automotive Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic - Telecommunications Engineering, Control Engineering & Automation, Biomedical Engineering, Robotics & Artificial Intelligence, Architecture, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, ..., and is a bridge for businesses to access young, quality human resources.

Students confidently apply to employers

At the booths, businesses directly interviewed, creating conditions for students to present their CVs, demonstrate their abilities and receive immediate feedback. This is a valuable experience that helps students grasp practical requirements, hone their interview skills and complete professional profiles - necessary luggage to enter the competitive labor market. Many excellent students were "finalized" by employers at the fair.

Notable examples include the 2-door, 4-seat convertible electric car model, the 5-seat electric car applying the level 2 self-driving system, the delta robot for packaging goods, the automatic roughness measuring machine, the shrimp pond monitoring system applying IoT, the luxury hotel project in Binh Duong , the general design of Bcons Riverside, the interior of Vo Uu Vegetarian Restaurant, the architectural projects of Garden - Villa Design, the fashion collections of Tu Van, Ngoi Chay, In Me, etc.

Student projects are creative and highly practical.

Le Huynh Phu Van, a 4th year student majoring in Construction Management, said: "Presenting my project to businesses helps me receive many practical comments to perfect the product, and at the same time opens up opportunities for future cooperation."

The presence of businesses at the exhibition area not only helps evaluate product quality but also opens up the possibility of commercialization and direct recruitment from students' ideas and solutions.

HUTECH TECHSHOW 2025, organized by the Center for Business Cooperation in collaboration with the Institute of Engineering, Faculty of Architecture - Fine Arts, HUTECH Faculty of Construction, with the accompaniment of the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Mechanical - Electrical Enterprises Association, has created a journey connecting schools - students - businesses, contributing to building a human resource with solid skills, strong thinking and rich in innovation energy.
