Currently, in the district, there are 4 companies investing in high-tech shrimp farming areas and implementing a chain of linkages and consuming shrimp products for Thien Phu Company and Southern Shrimp Company, associated with granting codes and certifications for farming facilities of key farming objects according to regulations.
Along with developing the aquaculture industry, the district has focused on promoting and encouraging salt farmers to gradually shift the inefficient black salt production area to tarpaulin salt production, thereby increasing the tarpaulin salt production area over the seasons.
