Thang Binh Agricultural Service Cooperative (Quang Dien Commune) operates in the agricultural sector with the main production being wet rice cultivation; managing and exploiting irrigation works with a total production area of 653 hectares. Currently, the Cooperative has 22 official members and more than 700 associate members.
Mr. Doan Cong Binh - Director of Thang Binh Agricultural Service Cooperative said that instead of small-scale rice production with low output and quality as before, members have now switched to concentrated production, applying "3 reductions, 3 increases" to increase income and reduce environmental pollution in agricultural production.
In the 2023-2024 Winter-Spring crop, the Cooperative has zoned off rice production according to the product value chain with a scale of 40 hectares. 40 households participating in the project are supported with an average of more than 10.8 million VND/ha to invest in production. After harvest, qualified rice is sold, and households have an additional profit of about 8 million VND/ha.
In 2024, the Cooperative has cooperated with enterprises to produce Dai Thom 8 rice varieties (150 hectares), commercial rice (170 hectares) and RVT rice varieties (35 hectares). Thereby, gradually guiding farmers to produce rice with high-quality, standard products to increase the value of local rice.

Established in September 2023, the 10/3 Fragrant Rice Cooperative (Ea Bong commune) has 19 members participating in the production of Dai Thom 8 rice variety according to VietGAP standards on an area of 30 hectares. Mr. Le Van Kim, Head of the Cooperative, shared that in order to establish the Cooperative, in addition to promoting farmers to better understand the effectiveness of participating in production linkages, the Cooperative has chosen to cooperate with manufacturers and distributors to meet the needs of agricultural materials in production for members and farmers; support the transfer of technical processes, organize production and consume products made at higher prices than outside the linkage.
Seeing the benefits of production linkage, many farmers have joined. From 19 initial members, the cooperative now has 39 members with a total area of over 45 hectares, with an average yield of over 10 tons/hectare.
Tan Thanh Cocoa Bean Production Cooperative (Ea Na commune) has 15 members. In addition to providing technical support for production, harvesting and purchasing all products for farmers at a price 10% higher than the market price, the Cooperative is collaborating with Nam Truong Son Cocoa Company Limited (a company with a cocoa farm recognized as a provincial tourist destination) to develop a model of agriculture combined with tourism. Mr. Nguyen Van Sy, Director of the Cooperative, said that by participating in the Cooperative, farmers are increasingly closer to each other, exchanging experiences and helping each other in production. This is a premise for expanding the production linkage area in a stable and sustainable direction, and is also a foundation for the Cooperative to develop both in capacity and scale of operation.
KTTT plays an important role in shifting the structure of crops and livestock, which is an important premise contributing to promoting socio -economic development, creating jobs, increasing income, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty sustainably. In recent times, the production and business activities of cooperatives, cooperative groups and agricultural farms in Krong Ana district have become increasingly diverse, in which some agricultural cooperatives continue to increase their charter capital and expand their business lines towards services for members and the community.
The People's Committee of Krong Ana district always pays attention to and creates favorable conditions for stable operations and capacity building for 30 cooperatives and 14 cooperative groups in the area. In addition, the district currently has 64 agricultural farms with an area of over 321 hectares, including 42 crop farms, 20 livestock farms, 1 aquaculture farm, and 1 mixed farm; there are 130 households raising swiftlets with 142 swiftlet houses, initially harvesting products to supply to the market.

Although it has been making an important contribution to job creation and economic development in the locality, it is also necessary to recognize that the quality of human resources in the field of KTTT in Krong Ana district is generally low. In addition, the output of key agricultural products produced and consumed in value chains has not met the set requirements, accounting for only a small proportion of the total production output in the area.
In the coming time, in addition to supporting training and capacity building for cooperatives and cooperative groups, the district will continue to create conditions and urge enterprises to invest in the rural agricultural sector; promote attraction and create favorable conditions for strategic investors, enterprises and cooperatives to participate in chain linkages, especially in building infrastructure and agricultural and forestry processing factories; link with farming households from production to purchasing, preserving, processing and consuming products according to the chain linkages. Thereby, improving operational efficiency, creating new momentum for the collective economy, contributing to increasing income, shifting labor structure, and accelerating the completion of criteria in the new rural construction program.
