Highlights of cultural and artistic movements

Phu Tan District has just successfully organized the 2024 "Good Voice" Contest, attracting 51 contestants to participate in 2 categories: traditional solo singing and modern music. The content of the songs focuses on praising the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland, the beauty of the Vietnamese people, and achievements in socio-economic development during the renovation period...

The contest is a healthy playground for the masses, cadres, workers, civil servants, and laborers to show off their singing talents. This is also an opportunity to select outstanding individuals to serve in the cultural and artistic movements of the district.

Meritorious Artist, Musician Truong Giang, member of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association, Head of the Jury, commented: “The contestants have good voices and are willing to invest time and effort in practicing. They are promising artists in the future.”

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize in modern music to contestant Dang Phuc Nguyen, Phu Thuan commune; the first prize in traditional music to contestant Nguyen Hoang Dung, Phu Tan commune. In addition, 4 second prizes, 4 third prizes and 15 consolation prizes were also awarded in both categories.

Contestant Dang Phuc Nguyen, first prize winner of modern music, shared: "The contest is an opportunity for contestants to express their love of music through lyrics and singing and to meet and interact with friends who have the same interests."

Contestant Nguyen Hoang Dung, first prize winner in the traditional music category, wishes: "I hope that competitions like this will be held more often, so that singing lovers can satisfy their passion, contributing to the development of the local cultural and artistic movement."

This “Good Voice” contest is a highlight in the district’s cultural and artistic activities, creating a joyful, exciting and united atmosphere among the people, contributing to promoting the development of the cultural and artistic movement, searching for and nurturing local traditional and musical talents. At the same time, the contest also contributes to promoting the potential and strengths of the district, introducing the landscape and people of Phu Tan district, and the achievements in the district’s economic and social development in the process of innovation, integration and development./.
