BTS' Jungkook Hits 1 Billion Streams on Spotify While Enlisted in the Military

Spotify confirmed that Jungkook surpassed 1 billion streams on the platform this year alone, becoming the first K-pop solo artist to reach this milestone in 2024.

Jungkook's recent Spotify achievements include two songs, "Seven" and "Left and Right," each surpassing 900 million streams. This marks a major milestone not only for K-pop solo artists but also for the broader K-pop genre.

In addition, Jungkook also set a new record as the Asian solo artist with the most songs surpassing 400 million streams. Six of his songs, including "Seven", "3D", "Standing Next to You", "Dreamers", "Left and Right" and "Euphoria" achieved this feat.

With all credits from his personal Spotify account, Jungkook has amassed over 5.2 billion streams, further cementing his status as a global music icon. His solo album “Golden” has also surpassed 3 billion streams, a historic achievement for a K-pop solo artist.
