VHO - On June 19, the Da Nang City Pickleball Federation held a press conference to announce the "Da Nang Business Pickleball Tournament 2025 - DPF Cup Competition".

Danang Business Pickleball Tournament 2025 - DPF Cup Competition is a completely new sports playground, connecting the business community, encouraging an active, healthy lifestyle and sticking to the spirit of "Live healthy - Live happily".

Mr. Truong Duy Hoa - Vice President of the Da Nang City Pickleball Federation said that the tournament was organized to respond to Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo on "Continuing to innovate, develop and improve the efficiency of the private economy in the socialist-oriented market economy"; the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".

At the same time, celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 to connect and exchange between businesses in Pickleball training and competition, creating conditions for athletes to compete, learn, and exchange experiences to improve their professional level and Pickleball competition techniques and tactics.

“The tournament aims to improve the health and spiritual life of workers, civil servants and employees of the business community in Da Nang City. This is also a practical activity that contributes to spreading corporate culture, enhancing exchanges and connections between state-owned enterprises and enterprises in the private economic sector in Da Nang City, towards building a positive, dynamic and sustainable working environment,” Mr. Truong Duy Hoa emphasized.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh, Permanent Vice President of Da Nang City Pickleball Federation - Head of the Organizing Committee, the City Pickleball Federation will closely coordinate with relevant units to organize the tournament professionally, effectively and safely.

“We aim to turn the tournament into an annual sporting event for the business community, thereby contributing to the strong development of the Da Nang business community,” said Mr. Canh.

According to the Organizing Committee, the athletes participating in the tournament are leaders, workers, civil servants, and employees of state-owned enterprises (including enterprises with state capital, with no limit on the state capital contribution ratio) in Da Nang city.

In addition, there are also enterprises in the private economic sector (including private enterprises, single-member LLCs, LLCs with two or more members, joint stock companies without State capital contributions and partnerships) in Da Nang city.

The 2025 Danang Business Pickleball Tournament - DPF Cup will start from August 1-3, 2025 at Trang Hoang Pickleball Court Complex, No. 86 Duy Tan, Danang.

The tournament will have 3 competitions including state-owned enterprises, private economic sector enterprises, and the super cup. The leadership doubles events will have a maximum of 64 pairs; the over/under 40 age events will have a maximum of 32 pairs/event.

The Organizing Committee will award trophies, medals and prizes to individual athletes and teams that achieve results in the competitions, with a total expected prize value of up to 400 million VND, not including the value of gifts from sponsors.

Pickleball - a sport combining tennis, badminton and table tennis - is growing strongly in the world and attracting the attention of many sports lovers in Vietnam in recent years.

Organizing the 2025 Corporate Pickleball Tournament in Da Nang not only brings a new playground, but also demonstrates the city's determination to improve the quality of spiritual life for the workforce, encouraging sports movements associated with production and business activities.
