In the previous two seasons in 2019 and 2022, HOZO had a small number of attendees. In this third season, HOZO suddenly rose up, expanded in scale, and became a true international music festival from the organization stage (strict security, tight management, reasonable stage arrangement...) to achieve great success.

This success came right from the first days of opening, with the consistent and core orientation of creating the essence of a music festival with international elements: inviting many international artists to perform in Vietnam; taking place continuously and with careful preparation over a long period of time. Lasting from September to December 2023 right in the center of District 1 are a series of events: HOZO Inspired Talents in September, HOZO University Tour in October, and 3 nights of HOZO Super Fest this Christmas.
As a "key" event of Ho Chi Minh City and closely monitored from all stages of organization, HOZO 2023 welcomes all audiences, free admission to maximize the number of attendees to be worthy of a music festival, as the city's policy is to be determined and steadfast in developing the cultural industry.
This "super music festival" space is "expanded" with not only the main stage but also a side stage with the participation of multi-disciplinary talents. Besides music, HOZO 2023 also deploys many multi-sensory dining and entertainment activities to serve attendees according to the model of "festival within a festival".

HOZO 2023's main audience is young audiences and open-minded listeners - people who can pass music on to each other and connect music in the spirit of "no borders", "no cultural distinction", spreading the musical beauty of Ho Chi Minh City.

General Director Huy Tuan (who also directed the previous 2 HOZO seasons) confided that the criteria for selecting international music to introduce in HOZO 2023 is to have Vietnamese artists and artists of Vietnamese origin; at the same time, always welcome young, famous artists from all over the world to come and sing with Vietnamese artists. That is the reason why throughout the HOZO 2023 series, from Ho Do Inspiration - HOZO Inspired Talents to HOZO Super Fest, the Organizing Committee always "expands" the scale and targets young singers and young artists with youthful energy.
Specifically, with HOZO Inspired Talents, the Organizing Committee creates opportunities for young talents to perform for the first time on a large-scale professional outdoor stage, thereby contributing to identifying and leaving an impression in the hearts of the audience, thereby positively inspiring the community. During the 3 nights of HOZO Super Fest that just took place, this inspirational message of living and pursuing a burning passion was once again reiterated by the artists.
It can be said that the journey of HOZO Super Fest this year is full of emotions. The program's performing artists interweave traditional and modern music (like the opening performance on the first night of December 22), between Vietnamese and international, and between international and original (in the case of K-pop group Tempest, there is a Vietnamese member Hanbin, real name Ngo Ngoc Hung).
Vietnamese and international elements were carefully considered and calculated, such as after the vibrant performances of Vietnamese music, the "key" performances of the show. Like the first show on December 22, the performing artists included: singer Charlie Lim, Otyken band and 5 Vietnamese representatives: Binz, GreyD, Chillies band, Saigon Pops Orchestra and DJ Hoaprox. The show on December 23 featured the participation of K-pop band Tempest, Kurrock band, Good Morning Everyone band, singers Van Mai Huong, My Anh, Vu Thao My, Erik, rookie "Roller girl" Giana, DJ Minji and DJ Vinjaz, MC Goku. The last show on December 24 featured performances by Don Diablo, El Pony Pisador band, Vortexx band, singer Thu Minh, Dalab band...
For music lovers, HOZO Super Fest's performances leave a lasting impression. The main stage on Le Loi Street was built as a "mini concert" for each performance by the famous artists appearing in the program, each with their own style.
HOZO 2023, with its elaborate, careful, and methodical organization, has become a true international music "super festival", attracting not only a large number of Vietnamese people but also international friends from the US, Japan, Korea, etc. Importantly, HOZO 2023 has captured the "cross-border music spirit" that the Organizing Committee always aims for.

HOZO 2023 is considered one of the biggest cultural events in 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, organized with the goal of investing in developing the cultural industry and stimulating tourism in the city.
The organization of the above event aims to contribute to the effective implementation of the project "Organizing typical festivals, cultural and sports events in Ho Chi Minh City, period from 2020 - 2030".
